Volunteers are an integral part of the LTBC conservation work. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who serve as board members, easement monitors, event planners, fund raisers, event assistants and technology advisors. Our volunteers share camaraderie, commitment, fun and fellowship while helping to preserve the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Bucks County. You can be a part of that experience, too. There are many opportunities covering a range of activities with varying time commitments.
Land Trust of Bucks County Board of Director Positions
Board members meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm in Bedminster. Each Board member contributes time in the way of committee participation. Fundraising and membership skills are a plus.
Our monitors schedule and walk preserved properties to ensure the terms of the conservation easements are maintained. Following the walk, monitors complete an annual monitoring report and send to the Executive Director. We have a spring training and kick-off party where everyone is briefed on protocol and has a chance to meet one another and share monitoring expertise.
Office Positions include data entry, mailings, filing, facebook page maintenance and inventory.
Please consider becoming a volunteer by contacting us to let us know of your availability and interests. We are making a difference that will endure. Please consider being a part of preserving the integrity of the landscape.
